Processing options, including comments, may be stored in settings files for later use.  A check mark is placed before the “Comments…” menu item if comments have been defined for the current settings.

Opening these files or dragging and dropping them onto the A/S Finder icon (System 7) will launch A/S and cause it to use those settings.

Default settings may also be defined.  These settings are placed in the Preferences folder within the System Folder and are used when A/S is first opened.  Only one set may be specified as the default set.

Place favorite settings files in a folder and choose it to be the Settings folder in the Folder Preferences window accessed via the Preferences window.  Settings files in this folder are displayed in a hierarchical Load Settings menu; choosing a menu item opens that settings file.
